Been reading some latest NS2 news and its sounding promising. The siege canons are getting majorly changed and for the better i believe. They will be called M.A.S.C or Mobile Automated Siege Cannon. They will be built at the marine base and are portable. The commander will mvoe them across the map (bit like issuing waypoints) which the canon will follow to the destination.

This has quite a few cool implications. While marines will still build a assault base (TF sentries PG etc) they will also have to defend the siege canon which will be moving to poisiton. The aliens however, will be able to intercept and destroy it. This will counter heavily fortified mini marine bases forcing the marines to defend on 2 points.

However, it does open up very interesting possibilities for marines. Can they ride the canon? Will the canon require a TF nearby to operate or just to be built at? Will the marines essentially have a siege canon with them when they assault a hive/outpost and simpyl need a TF to be built to operate it - imagine heavy armor, hmgs, gl and a siege canon moving into a hive.....

A new hopefully bug free version of sourcebans is now out, so on all Bry's TF2 Servers is now a fully working admin system

I am in the process of adding sourcemod to the TF2 servers.

There will be no GamePlay changing plugins added (at least for now if you find any good ones please suggest them via the forums)

The only custom plugins being added will be Ads (displays ingame ads every minute e.g. visit www.bryns.co.uk )

Once this is setup and running well i will be re-implementing the donator system for TF2 for reserved slots.
